2007 – 2010 : PhD in Biology, University of New Brunswick, Canada. Thesis title: “Performance influenced by host-plant selection and feeding behaviour in potato-colonizing aphids”, conducted in Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Fredericton, Canada.

2002 – 2003 : Masters in Science in Plant Protection, University Paris-Sud XI, France. Thesis title: “The kdr pyrethroid resistance mechanism in African populations of Helicoverpa armigera”, conducted in CIRAD, Montpellier, France.

1999 – 2001 : Bachelor in Science in Chemistry and Biology of Plants, University of Ile de la Reunion, France. Thesis title: “The effect of the habitat on the bioactive components of some medicinal plants of Mauritius”, conducted at the University of Mauritius, Mauritius.
